Welcome to Biblical Studies

This website is dedicated to expanding our understanding of the Bible by explaining concepts in their biblical, literary, and cultural contexts.

Under the Bible Studies tab, you’ll find audio recordings and lesson notes from Cory’s own ministry in his home church, small groups, and school events, while the various video clips under the Videos tab are borrowed from sources around the world. The Resources tab contains a number of reliable resources Cory has found useful to his own study of the Bible.

Feburary 8, 2010—Videos are now back up from the previous update that I had lost. (Uploaded many more movies to the Islam and Apologetics pages, 3 very good movies on America and Freemasonry, and a movie called Demographics Winter on the Cutural Issues page.)

This study in Genesis is the first part of a lengthier study in the Torah (first five books of the Old Testament) and takes a look at the history and culture of the events and people from the beginning of creation to the beginning of the Jews as a people group.
